3.1 Reservation process: All vehicle reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any reservation for any reason (e.g., availability, suspected fraud, incorrect details).
3.2 Rental terms: The rental period begins when you pick up the vehicle and ends when you return it in accordance with our instructions. You must comply with all applicable laws and these Terms during the rental.
3.3 Payment: You agree to pay all charges specified at booking and any additional charges incurred during the rental (e.g., fuel, tolls, parking, damage, late return). We accept the payment methods indicated on our site.
3.4 Pricing and taxes: Rental prices and applicable taxes or fees will be clearly communicated at the time of booking and are subject to change until confirmed.
3.5 Cancellation: Our cancellation policy will be displayed at the time of booking (or in a separate document). If you cancel your reservation, you may be charged a cancellation fee as specified at booking.
4. Vehicle Use and Responsibility
4.1 Permitted drivers: Only drivers listed in the reservation and meeting our eligibility criteria are permitted to drive the vehicle.
4.2 Condition and return: You must inspect the vehicle at pickup, notify us of existing damage, and return it in substantially the same condition (save for reasonable wear). You may be liable for damage, loss or late return charges.
4.3 Fuel and mileage: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup unless otherwise specified. Mileage limitations may apply; you will be responsible for excess mileage charges if applicable.
4.4 Prohibited uses of vehicle: The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, vehicle hire to third parties, towing (unless agreed), off-road use (unless agreed), or outside permitted geographic areas.
4.5 Insurance and liability: We may provide basic insurance; you are responsible for deductibles, loss or damage not covered by insurance, and any violation fines, tolls, parking tickets or driving offences incurred during your rental.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or the vehicle rental. Our total liability under or in connection with these Terms will be limited to the amount you paid for the rental.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service or vehicle, or any violation of applicable law.
7. Modifications to Terms and Service
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. The updated Terms will take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of those revisions. We may also modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, without liability to you.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Wallingford, CT.
9. Severability
If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, that part shall be severed and the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
